Bourn Solar Farm, consultation management
We were approached by vogt solar to manage public and stakeholder consultation surrounding their plans for a 5MWp solar farm on land north of the village of Bourn in Cambridgeshire. Following initial research, we developed a consultation strategy and programme and issued letters and exhibition invitations to local residents, elected representatives and interest groups. We organized a public exhibition, including the design and production of the boards required, and launched an online consultation. Following the close of the consultation period, we compiled a Statement of Community Involvement and updated the community on the application via a newsletter, advising them on how to comment.
