Solum Regeneration

Haywards Heath

Solum Regeneration Logo

Haywards Heath is the first of multiple online consultations being developed for Solum Regeneration, a joint venture between Network Rail and Kier Properties to refurbish a series of railway stations across the South East of England.

The project, which aims to regenerate land around Haywards Heath Station, includes a new Waitrose foodstore, a café and a restaurant as well as improved transport links for railway users.

Prior to submitting their planning application in June 2012, the project management team at Solum were keen to engage the local community in a period of public consultation. We have developed an online consultation, powered by Open Debate, which allowed visitors to find out more about the proposal, watch a short video about the project and keep up to date with the projects process. Vitally, the website enables users to leave feedback using an online questionnaire and open comments box.
