Chequers Court consultation management
Churchmanor are planning the redevelopment of Chequers Court in Huntingdon town centre, to include approximately 11 new shops and improve shared areas and pedestrian links through the town.
We were appointed by Churchmanor to devise an appropriate consultation strategy to support the application, with work including the compilation of a stakeholder database; production of key messages and a Q&A document; and the delivery of a public exhibition (publicised via newletter and letter invitations, a press advert and a press release) and an online consultation.
We produced all exhibition materials and managed the event, which we followed with an analysis of the feedback received and the issue of a further press release to communicate the outcome. We also compiled the Statement of Community Consultation which was submitted alongside the final application in summer 2010.
Consense offers an innovative and strategic approach to public consultation and can act very quickly. We’re especially impressed by their online consultation work. We look forward to working with Consense on this project.
