Airvolution launches two new websites using custom-made Open Debate system

Onshore wind developer Airvolution has launched two new microsites using their bespoke Open Debate system.

Both online consultations, for the proposed construction of four turbines at New Rides Farm and two further turbines at Ysgellog Farm, encourage users to engage in the planning process by submitting feedback online.

Airvolution’s bespoke microsite system,  powered by Open Debate, enables their project managers to generate consultation-enabled microsites in-house, which branch off from their corporate website via an interactive Google map. By filling in a simple form, Airvolution can effectively build their own microsite using a templated system and invite users to register for updates, and submit questions and comments via a feedback form.

Each microsite is content managed, allowing the project team to easily edit and add content. The Open Debate system also allows them to manage consultation feedback and enables the team to send responses to users’ questions or comments, establishing an effective trail of communication.
