Solum Regeneration receives planning consent

Congratulations to our client Solum Regeneration who have received planning approval for their plans to regenerate Redhill Station in Surrey.

The approved plans hope to modernise the town’s station which will bring significant benefits to both rail passengers and the public as a whole. The plans for the station improvements include a new ticket office, a Waitrose food store creating around 200 new jobs, a new public square at the entrance to the station, improved pedestrian links into the town centre, and 150 high-quality residential apartments.

Consense were approached by Solum Regeneration to launch an online consultation which engaged local stakeholders in plans for the redevelopment. We provided online consultation support via our award-winning Open Debate system which enabled Solum to analyse feedback and responses, and successfully manage the audit trail of communication using one central management tool.

We wish Solum Regeneration many similar successes in the future and look forward to seeing the development begin early next year.
