Consense launches first online consultation website for Inazin

This month has seen the launch of our first online consultation for new client Inazin and their plans for a 27 turbine wind farm at Balliemeanoch, south east of Portsonachan, Argyll.

The proposed plans, if approved, could bring many benefits to the local community, including potential energy discounts for those living within 15km of the development. In addition, the proposed plans will help to contribute to Scotland’s renewable energy targets, with the turbines capable of generating around 194GWh of clean electricity each year.

The online consultation provides full details of the proposed wind farm and invites local community members to register for updates. The website will continue to evolve over the coming months with the addition of new info pages and a questionnaire, which will allow users to provide feedback on the scheme.

In addition to creating a consultation website for Balliemeanoch, we have also produced various communication materials such as community leaflets and exhibition displays which were designed and printed by us in-house. These consultation materials will be used for a public exhibition being held this week, to inform the local community about the proposal and obtain feedback.
