Planning success for Consense

Consense are celebrating a successful start to 2013, with the approval of planning applications in both the energy and property sectors.

The largest of the applications, for Kilgallioch Wind Farm, was approved by the Scottish Government in February, and is set to be Scottish Power Renewables’ second largest onshore wind project with an operational capacity of up to 288MW, enough to power more than 170,000 homes.

Also approved this year is the planned regeneration of land surrounding Haywards Heath Station in Surrey (Solum Regeneration) which will bring a new food store and transport connections to the town.

Both approved projects utilised online consultation as part of wider community engagement activities and chose the award-winning Open Debate system to help them manage feedback and analyse responses.
