• About Us
  • Environment and Community

Like all businesses, we have an impact on the environment and our local community and we are making conscious efforts to minimise them as far as possible.

Some of the simplest measures involve simple adjustments to the way we use resources. We employ a culture of conserving as much energy as possible - using energy saving light bulbs and always making sure that anything that doesn't need to be switched on isn't. All our waste paper is recycled and we re-use as many boxes and packages as possible. We also recycle all our printer cartridges.

Providing our clients with more environmentally friendly printing options has become second nature. We work with printers leading the way in their efforts to create a more environmentally friendly service. By only using paper from FSC certified mills and offering vegetable based inks, they allow us to offer clients more options than the standard recycled paper. We encourage staff to keep internal printing to a minimum and all our office printers are stocked with recycled paper. We use local suppliers and partners as often as we can - including a printing company ten paces from our office - and do as much work as possible in-house, such as large scale printing.

We adopt a cycle to work scheme that encourages staff to leave their cars at home. Where possible, we visit clients via public transport.

We offer work placements for local schools and colleges throughout the year, giving pupils and students a valuable insight into our industry and hopefully giving us first refusal on talent.

We can all do better, which is why we are continually looking at ways to reduce our impacts including monitoring our usage to give ourselves real targets for the future.
