Winners | Renewable Energy Infrastructure Awards

Consense won ‘Advisor of the Year - Technical' category at the inaugural national Renewable Energy Infrastructure Awards 2011, seeing off competition from seven other businesses. The award champions excellence in supporting the development of renewable and low-carbon energy projects, and was presented to us by Charles Hendry, Minister of State for DECC. Our very own Jessica Topham, Director and Elma Glasgow, Business Development Manager, attended the ceremony held at The Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington, London on the 10th November.

Winners | UK CEED National E-well Being Awards

Consense won its fourth award for Open Debate, having been awarded an IVCA Clarion award for Consultation. The IVCA Clarion Awards are not-for-profit and recognise best practice in communicating the importance of CSR, diversity, community development, ethical, health and welfare issues in the public, charity, social enterprise and corporate sectors.

Winners | Anglia Business Awards 2010

Consense won the Innovation and Technology award the 2010 Anglian Business Awards evening, hosted at Trinity Park, Ipswich. The Innovation and Technology award, sponsored by University Campus Suffolk, recognises the creative use of technology and innovation; we won the award in acknowledgment of our Open Debate System. Consense were the winning company of the three finalists in this category.

Winners | UK CEED National E-well Being Awards

Consense won the SME Innovations award as well as the Overall award at the UK CEED National E-well Being awards in Leeds. We were handed the trophies in recognition of our Open Debate online consultation system as a tool for engaging people in planning for renewable energy schemes.

We were shortlisted from over 120 companies and were the winning company from the five finalists in the SME Innovations category. The award recognises mainstream business Information and Communication Technologies which are creating significant environmental and social benefits.
